Embracing the theme “Innovate, Accelerate and Scale: Delivering food systems transformation in a digital and climate era”, the Africa Food Systems Forum 2024 kicked off in Kigali, Rwanda, today, September 2, and will continue up to Friday, September 6, 2024.
Several side events, which highlight initiatives and possibilities for transforming African food systems, are being held during the first day of the Forum.
With over 250 million people experiencing hunger and undernutrition, there has never been a more critical time to transform Africa’s food systems.
The Africa Food Systems Forum (AFS Forum) is the world’s premier forum for African agriculture and food systems, bringing together world leaders, policymakers, business leaders, investors and farmers to discuss how to accelerate food systems transformation in Africa.
