The Mo Ibrahim Foundation is an African foundation, established in 2006 with one focus: the critical importance of governance and leadership for Africa.
One of their initiatives is the Ibrahim Forum, an annual high-level discussion forum convened around one specific issue of critical importance to Africa that demands committed leadership and sound governance.
The 2018 Ibrahim Forum focused on public services in 21st century Africa: their key relation to good governance and effective leadership, new challenges and current shortcomings, the ways and means to strengthen them and make them appealing to the next generation.
