
The Hailemariam & Roman Foundation (HRF) participated in the 1st round GO-CSO Forum organized by the South Ethiopia Region in Wolaita Sodo city. This annual event, which took place on June 7, 2025, was held under the theme “Partnership and Cooperation between Government and Civil Society Organizations for Maximum Public Benefit.” The forum brought together CSOs operating in the region, high-level government officials, and representatives from the FDRE’s Authority for Civil Society Organizations.
During the forum, presentations and discussions on the vital contributions of CSOs in the region took place, complemented by a photo exhibition that showcased the impactful work of various organizations, including HRF. The HRF team actively engaged in the discussion & exhibition, highlighting its efforts over the past six years to support pastoral and agro-pastoral communities, as well as national parks and the surrounding people in the region.
In recognition of its significant contributions through various projects and supporting this specific event, HRF was awarded certificates of recognition and appreciation, underscoring its commitment to community development through promoting partnership and coordinated efforts of development actors in the region.
