Hailemariam & Roman Foundation also convened a high-level roundtable at the AFS Forum 2026 in Kigali on September 4, bringing together ministers, policymakers, scientists, development partners and private-sector leaders to discuss how Africa can strengthen agricultural innovation, investment and economic transformation.
The discussion emphasized stronger institutions, predictable regulatory systems and greater harmonization across Africa to reduce barriers, build investor confidence and enable more integrated agricultural markets—helping turn Africa’s innovation and productive potential into jobs, investment and inclusive economic growth.
