The Hailemariam and Roman Foundation (HRF), in collaboration with the South Omo Zone, convened a high-level advocacy conference under the theme “Joint Efforts for Accelerated Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health Development” in Dimeka town, Hamer Woreda.
The goal of the conference is to establish a public platform for the Foundation’s development work in maternal, neonatal, and child health in pastoralist areas, which would benefit the community in the long run.
The high level delegation has been warmly welcomed by Hamer Woreda administration, tribal leaders, elders and representatives from the community. The local community has presented gifts to the former Ethiopian First Lady and the CEO of Hailemariam and Roman Foundation Mrs. Roman Tesfaye, as a gratitude for the projects being implemented in the woreda.
