Today, H.E. Hailemariam Dessalegn, the former prime minister of Ethiopia, Chair of the HRF and chair of AGRA, paid a visit to the Tanzania Horticulture Association (TAHA), one of the biggest and most successful organisations in Africa. The TAHA is a leading private sector membership-based organization that promotes the expansion and competitiveness of Tanzania’s horticultural sector.
During the tour, H.E. Hailemariam stated that modernizing agriculture in Africa is the key to sustainable economic growth and development. He also praised the leadership team for bringing him on such an informative visit to the TAHA Practical Training Centre at Nanenane Njiro & Rijkzwaan Q-Sem Limited.
